Paris Plages 2020: have fun and enjoy entertainment safely

This festival of seaside-style pleasures is organised by the City of Paris, which states that Paris Plages 2020 will observe all current rules and recommendations to ensure the health and safety of the capital’s summer visitors, including regular cleaning and disinfection of the locations involved. The various spaces and activities have been adapted so that you can enjoy them in complete peace of mind. Likewise, many catering facilities will be available, including ice cream trucks, crêperies and snack vendors, to avoid excessive concentrations of people. So, grab your towel and sunscreen and enjoy!

 

The two sites of Paris Plages 2020

As with its previous editions, Paris Plages will take place in two main locations. The Bassin de la Villette is the place to head for water-based activities such as swimming and paddling, kayaking and aquatic courses, but you’ll also be able to enjoy plenty of games and sports activities. There’s a boules area, a zip line, table football facilities and much more... The quays of the Seine also have entertainment for children and numerous places to relax and rest. Plus, the Mist Garden provides a blissfully cooling experience on hot days.

Paris will have a holiday atmosphere again this year thanks to Paris Plages 2020, and with the sanitary measures in place visitors can rest assured that they will be safe.
